O2 understood that you can go beyond putting your logo on a sponsored event and became actively responsible for driving it. Perhaps that’s why O2 took on an under-used and much ridiculed landmark building in London and turned it into Europe’s largest entertainment hub.
As brand guardians and strategic consultants, Lambie-Nairn worked with O2 and all of the other partners to make sure that the whole experience from booking tickets, to arriving at the venue, using the bars in the intervals and promotion of the events were all on brand. There were extra benefits for O2 clients like preferential booking and VIP areas.
The O2 launched in 2007 as ‘Europe’s largest entertainment hub’, and has since been named as ‘The world’s most popular venue’ and ‘best international arena’.
