TV channel positioned at the epicentre of Arab news

Al Arabiya TV, based in Dubai, was the first 24-hour rolling news channel launched by the Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC). The channel would compete directly with the already well-established Al Jazeera, carrying news, current affairs, the latest on business and financial markets, sporting events, talk shows and documentaries. Promising its audience objectivity and accuracy, Al Arabiya needed to be seen as a channel with credibility and a serious news offering.

We positioned the channel as ‘The epicentre of Arab news.’ The on-air identity showcases the channel as a centre for news gathering, with its eye focused on major Arabic cities across the region, and a field of vision that extends to all parts of the globe. The visual motifs reminiscent of a crescent moon ensure the channel resonates locally. Since its launch, Al Arabiya has been consistently rated among the top pan-Arab stations by Middle East audiences.
