We recognised that while Abu Dhabi TV’s rebrand should position them at the forefront of the region’s progressive vision, it also needed to respect their cultural heritage and the more traditional section of their audience. Our new identity achieves the ideal balance; uplifting imagery links the past and present to ensure a strong emotional connection, a sparkling diamond represents the region’s multifaceted nature, and rich colour coding creates a flexible, modern, branded channel approach. This global outlook with a local focus proved hugely successful, helping them achieve Top 5 channel status in the region.
