Mapping the future
Qatar National Hotels Company needed a new name and corporate identity to support their ambitious international expansion plans, in line with Qatar’s own tourism development strategy.
We wanted to create a name which conveyed the rich history and legacy of Qatar whilst also conveying the company’s hospitality credentials. ‘Katara’ comes from descriptions of Qatar used in ancient maps of the region, recognising the country’s rich cultural heritage and adding an international flavour, whilst ‘Hospitality’ reflects their broader remit as the company expands.
We worked with the company on their brand strategy, naming and brand identity, producing a corporate film, website, corporate brochure and a high quality ‘coffee table’ style book, showcasing Katara Hospitality’s achievements and future plans.
