Reflecting What Matters

Zahrat Al-Khaleej is a well-established weekly women’s magazine that has enjoyed a leadership position across the Arab region for many years. Aimed at women aged 18-40 the lifestyle magazine offers advice and insight on celebrity, beauty, fashion and health.

The Anazahra website needed to reflect the premium content and trendsetter status of the magazine. Our brief was to position AnaZahra.com as a premium and personal point of reference for every Arab woman. This would also mean designing an intuitive user experience that could organize and make sense of a huge volume and variety of content.

We started by creating a core brand essence, ‘reflections that inspire’ and developed a new set of active guiding values. We delivered a vibrant new identity system that not only made the website user-experience easy and enjoyable, but also showcased the breadth of quality content available to users.

The site was given a silver award in the Forbes Middle East 2012 ranking of the most powerful online lifestyle media in the Arab world.
