LONDON (20 March 2009) Lambie-Nairn, a leading branding and design consultancy, has strengthened its international operations with two significant new hires. Lisa Hill, formerly of Moving Brands, joins as Executive Client Director of its London headquarters, while Marina Wolny signs-on as Design Director of the company’s Munich operation.

As a member of the management team, Lisa Hill will be responsible for overseeing key client relationships and strengthening the company’s expanding client base. At Moving Brands, Hill directed programmes for global brands such as Nokia, Coca Cola, Vodafone and The Body Shop whilst leading client servicing teams in both London and Tokyo.

Launched in May 2008, Lambie-Nairn’s Munich operation welcomes Marina Wolny as Design Director. Previously at Landor Associates, Wolny brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to the agency, having led the creative output for programmes across the EMEA region in Dubai, Milan, Hamburg and London.

“These appointments are a good reflection of our ambition and growth potential,” notes Christian Schroeder, CEO of Lambie-Nairn, “and while no one is immune to the economic situation we now find ourselves in, the need for companies to strengthen their brands has never been more relevant than it is today. Lisa and Marina’s experience leading holistic programmes for world-class brands, combined with Lambie-Nairn’s expertise in bringing brands to life in an increasingly media-driven world, puts us in good stead for the future.”

Lambie-Nairn helps showcase a nation

Visit Design Week to see their feature on our work on Al Doha TV.

For the occasion of Qatar’s National Day, the channel was launched to promote Qatari culture around the Arab world, featuring live celebrations and documentaries covering modern and traditional aspects of Qatar.

Our animated solution proved a cost-effective, yet dynamic way of contrasting with the largely filmed, live-action programming of the channel. Rooted in national colours of maroon and white, a richly animated world showcases unique qualities of Qatar – appealing to residents, visitors and business audiences alike.
