Abu Dhabi TV has relaunched with new off-screen and on-screen identities created by design agency Lambie-Nairn.
The branding programme includes new identities and positioning for each of the broadcaster’s channels — Abu Dhabi One, Al Emarat, Abu Dhabi Sport and Abu Dhabi News.

Lambie-Nairn created a strong master brand to run across all of the channels. It has been designed to reflect the progressive nature of the emirate, whilst respecting its heritage.
Each channel also has its own visual ident, which Lambie-Nairn says reflects the unique personality and passion behind the programming.

Vida Rizq, chief marketing officer at Abu Dhabi Media Company, owner of Abu Dhabi TV, said: “The new brand is part of a much wider change across the Abu Dhabi family of channels, designed to enhance the viewer experience.
“With Lambie Nairn’s support, we have undertaken strategic repositioning of our brands to support the programming, scheduling and promotional strategy across our channels.”
Lambie-Nairn’s work for Abu Dhabi TV encompassed naming consultation, a set of four channel identities, break bumpers and on-screen presentation, as well as off-screen brand elements, including colour palette, typography and advertising guidelines.
Christian Schroeder, chief executive at Lambie-Nairn, said: “This project has been hugely exciting from both a strategic and creative perspective.
“Abu Dhabi TV is going through rapid change and the brand is at the centre of that development. The diamond identity and the high quality of production around the on-screen elements bring the strategic positioning of ‘Arabian Ambition’ to life in a distinct and aspirational way.”
